What is the Westchester Plumbing Foundation ?
The Westchester Plumbing Foundation is a non-profit organization that partners with certified and approved plumbing schools to provide continuing education for licensed master plumbers in Westchester County and NYC. Whether its a back-flow certification, plumbing code, wet venting, continuing education, or boiler installation. We offer a variety of plumbing specialty classes.
Why Join ?
If you a licensed master plumber in Westchester County, the new licensing requirements in Westchester County means that all licensed master plumbers complete four (4) hours of continuing education each year, starting in 2025. As a benefit of membership, our members pay just $100 for their continuing education class. Members enjoy exclusive access to flexible scheduled classes mean that we offer classes around the member's schedules. Our database will organize and keep track of your licensing requirements - whether it’s continuing education, operator qualification (OQ), or backflow certification. Westchester County Rule #13 reads:
This rule shall be applicable to all Countywide Master Plumbers and Restricted Master Plumbers that are seeking to renew or shelve their license for 2026 and every year thereafter. All Countywide Master Plumbers and Restricted Master Plumbers, whether shelved or current, shall be required to complete four (4) hours of Continuing Education annually from an approved provider prior to submitting their application for renewal or shelving. No renewal or shelving application will be accepted unless the Board has been supplied with proof of satisfying the Continuing Education requirements. If the Continuing Education requirements are not satisfied, the license will not be renewed or shelved and the licensee will be subject to any applicable penalties under the laws, rules and regulations of the Board.
